Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov
The Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization within the framework of the Turkic Universities Union announces the holding of the "The Heritage of Abai" contest dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev.
The purpose of this contest is to popularize the heritage of the great Abai Kunanbayev, identify and support talented students, undergraduates, doctoral students, as well as teaching staff, assist in promoting their creativity, develop youth interest in literature and rally Turkic-speaking countries.
All interested students, undergraduates and doctoral students of universities belonging to the Turkic Universities Union can take part in the Contest.
Participants can prepare an expressive reading (Abai's words of edification and/or poems) on the theme "Poetry is the ruler of language" or perform a song on the theme "Melody is the soul of all... There is no poet without thought, there is no music without melody". Works are accepted in all languages.
Video materials should be posted on social networking pages (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), marking Atyrau University.
Applications are accepted in the period from October 15 to November 30, 2020.
